Duke Buchan III a North Carolina native who graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Economics and Spanish, from Romance Studies (formally Romance Languages and Literature department) in 1985, was nominated by the White House on Aug. 3rd as Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain and the Principality of Andorra. Buchan is the founder and CEO of Hunter Global Investors L.P., a private investment management firm with multiple funds investing in a range of assets globally, including real estate.
