About Professor Aaron
Grace Aaron is a translator, certified by the American Translators’ Association, Number 520708, for Spanish-to-English texts. Translation represents a natural progression from loving and studying literature because it embraces the closest possible reading of a source text and its subsequent transfer into one's first language without loss or gain. She has translated academic documents for The Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy, Educational Perspectives, and Georgia Tech's NEETRAC program, as well as Colombian-government policy papers, legal documents, research proposals, and interviews for academic institutions.
She is an active member of The Carolina Association of Translators and Interpreters, The American Translators Association and the American Literary Translators Association. She has given conference presentations at CATI and ALTA 40 and moderated and chaired panels at the Carolina Conference.
