The Renaissance Mind (in English)

In this course, we will explore what it means to talk about this period of unparalleled human development in all of the above cited Disciplines, and discuss the ways in which these achievements gave shape to the world we know today: from the question of whether and how to educate women, to the invention of gunpowder and Da Vinci’s war machines, to the concept of romantic love and the nuclear family, to the development of public health, the modern state and questions of what it means to be human.
