Approaches to Spanish Language Teaching

You will learn the teaching fundamentals: classroom management, lesson planning, and creation of exercises as they relate to teaching the Spanish language. You will receive training in the knowledge and skills useful to tutors in a variety of class situations. This course will provide you with the opportunity to serve as a peer tutor for an Elementary Spanish course. You will be matched with a particular section of SPAN 101 or 102 to teach three 50-minute sessions per week where you can apply the teaching fundamentals presented in the course.
