Assignments include mechanical and creative activities, short research essays on grammar topics, and argumentative, analytical, comparison, and exposition essays.

Students majoring in Hispanic Literatures and Cultures or Hispanic Linguistics that wish to declare a Translation and Interpreting minor (and not have declared a different minor in the department) must take Span 300.

Requisites: Prerequisite, SPAN 255 or 261; permission of the instructor for students lacking the prerequisite.
