Introduction to Hispanic Linguistics
This course is an introduction to the basic linguistic topics of the study of the Spanish languages, from the point of view of contemporary linguistic theory. In this course, various concepts of the main linguistic fields will be introduced: phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, acquisition, dialectology, and historical linguistics.
Requisites: Prerequisite, SPAN 300.
