French language for reading knowledge. No knowledge of French required to enroll. Introduction to structures of the language necessary for reading, including translating academic and non-academic texts from French into English. For students seeking knowledge or a review of grammatical structures and vocabulary in preparation for the reading knowledge exam for graduate degrees (FLPA), or for students interested in building skills and competency in translation.
