FREN 601: French for Graduate Reading Knowledge

French language for reading knowledge. No knowledge of French required to enroll. Provides an introduction to structures of the language necessary for reading, through the translation of academic and non-academic texts from French into English. For students seeking knowledge or a review of grammatical structures and vocabulary in preparation for the reading knowledge exam for graduate degrees (FLPA), or for students interested in building skills and competency in translation.
