In this course, we will review and deepen your knowledge of grammar and expand your lexical knowledge, building a bigger reserve of academic and idiomatic vocabulary. The linguistic knowledge you acquire and deepen in this course will be linked to social, cultural, and historical themes including regional identities and traditions, foodways, Fascism, Postwar Italy and Neorealism, the economy, and Italian art, literature, and music. This is the only required course for the ITAL major and minor
