About Julie

Julie is a French student whose Master's thesis delved into non-fiction translation. She also participated in the EU-funded YUFE Alliance program which allowed her to study Middle East conflict and cinema. She's joining UNC in Fall 2024 as a French graduate teaching fellow and is interested in African-American literature as well as social, racial and gender inequalities. Personally, Julie enjoys photography and traveling and she is trained as a first responder with the French Red Cross.
