About Thomas

Thomas is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. He first attended UNC Chapel Hill, obtaining a double major in Hispanic Literature and Economics and completing a semester at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago, Chile. After graduating, he served briefly as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Quito, Ecuador. In 2023, he received his MA from the University of Illinois, focusing on the poetry of Raúl Zurita and critical geography. His research currently focuses on supply chains, subjectivity, and capitalism in nineteenth century Hispano-American narrative.
