Before enrolling in his Ph.D., Antonio worked in investment banking, photography, management (running his own company for ten years), teaching, and coaching. He has lived in Madrid, New York, London, Geneva, Lausanne, Paris, Bordeaux, Boston, etc. He enjoys riding his motorbike (and bicycle), sports, cooking, travel, bullfighting, blogging, volunteering and smoking cigars. His favorite movies include: Casablanca, Mar Adentro, and all Wes Anderson films. His favorite dish is fish and anything with olive oil on it. His favorite restaurant in Chapel Hill is Buns for their grilled salmon sandwich with sweet potato fries. He is currently on the third year of his Ph..D writing his dissertation about Padre Isla, the writer of the best-selling novel in Spain in the 18th Century!
