Bio

I consider myself an accessible professor. I trust my students’ prior knowledge, since I want them to feel empowered and capable of achieving success. It is all is possible when they feel at ease and committed with their own learning. The classroom setting is ideal to discuss/satisfy curiosity, as well as to provoke discussions, research, and intellectual growth. I visualize education as a holistic experience. I consider my duty to take advantage of my students’ knowledge to keep the conversation going and to help our society move forward. It all begins here, at UNC.
