About Aubrey

After finishing her undergraduate degree at NCSU in 2017, Aubrey spent three years abroad- two years with the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF) and thirteen months as a full-time EFL teacher in Seoul, South Korea. A native North Carolinian, Aubrey returned to NC to begin the the Graduate Program in French and Francophone Studies at UNC and currently teaches FREN101. Her research interests include Early Modern French literature and poetry, Romantic- Contemporary Age French literature and poetry, as well as Women and Gender Studies particularly LGBTQ+ & Queer Theory.
