About Azza

Azza holds a General Academic Studies Degree (DEUG) in French Language, Literature, and Civilization from the Faculty of Letters, Arts, and Humanities from the University of Manouba (Tunis), a B.A. in French Language, Literature, and Civilization from the University of Manouba and the École Normale Supérieure of Tunis, a M.A. in French Language, Literature, and Civilization from the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Tunis, the Agrégation (a competitive examination for civil service in the French public education system) in French, and she is ABD in French Language, Literature, and Civilization through a joint supervision agreement between the Faculty of Letters, Arts, and Humanities of Manouba and Paul Valéry University of Montpellier III (France).

Azza has published on Paul Morand, and she is currently working, under the direction of Prof. Hassan Melehy, on a dissertation focused on identity, language, and writing in Maghrebian (women) writers of French and Arabic expression.
