Caitlin is from Augusta, Georgia. She has a BA in French and Italian Studies from the University of Washington and is currently a PhD student at UNC Chapel Hill in French. Her research interests revolve around 17th Century French Fairy Tales and the relationship between gender and politics in fantasy literature. In 2014, Caitlin taught at the University of Montpellier III in Montpellier, France. She has taught both beginning and intermediate French courses at UNC and enjoys fostering a love for French language and culture in her students.
