Ar Condicionado was awarded the African Studies Association Film Prize in 2020, the “Science New Wave” prize at the Imagine Science Film Festival (2020), the “Best Fiction” prize at the International Film Festival Innsbruck (2020), and won Best Film at the Luxor African Film Festival (2021). We are excited to bring this film to Chapel Hill, and cannot wait to share it with you all.
