Language Exchange
Language Exchange
UNC Chapel Hill currently participates in the Language Exchange, an inter-university, collaborative program that enables students from other participating state schools to pursue transfer credit in language courses not offered at their own institution. The UNC-CH courses on the Exchange are taught in person at the Chapel Hill campus (exceptions for global pandemic) and synchronously via web conferencing.
Students taking a course on the Language Exchange continue to pay tuition to their home university.
UNC-CH via the Language Exchange offers courses in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, Cherokee, French, Hebrew, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, and Russian. Course availability will vary per semester. Universities on the Exchange collaborate through language consortiums to meet demands and avoid replicating offerings.
