Education

Angela obtained a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Translation and Conference Interpreting (Languages: English and French) at the Secondary School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators (SSLMIT) at the University of Trieste (Italy).

Given her passion for French literature, she also obtained a Master's Degree in French literature at Ca' Foscary - University of Venice (Italy).

About Angela

Her research focuses on 18th-century French epistolary novels and, in particular, on the repection of said works among 18th-century readers.

She is also interested in 17th-century fairy tales, especially those written by Marie-Catherine D'Aulnoy.

In October 2023, she presented at the Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association Conference in Golden, Colorado. She presented in the panel "Forgotten Women of the French-Speaking World" with the following paper: “Isabelle de Charrière: a forgotten «épistolière».”
